ZanjaConnect ("we", "us") connects customers with local service providers (plumbing, electrical, maintenance) across Zambia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile app and website.

• Account information: name, email, phone number, password (encrypted). • Location data: used to match you with nearby providers and track active bookings. • Booking details: service requested, address, job notes, before/after photos. • Payment information: processed securely via our payment partner; we do not store full card details. • Device data: device type, operating system, and crash reports to improve the app.

• To connect you with suitable service providers. • To track and manage your bookings in real time. • To process payments and provider payouts. • To send booking updates, safety alerts, and support messages. • To improve our services and prevent fraud.

We use your device location to find nearby providers and share live tracking during active bookings. Location sharing only occurs while a booking is in progress or when you are online as a provider. You can disable location services in your device settings, but this will limit core features.

We share your name, phone number, and booking address with the assigned provider so they can complete the job. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with law enforcement if required by Zambian law or to respond to a safety alert.

We use encryption, secure servers, and row-level database access controls to protect your data. Access to personal information is restricted to authorised staff only. Despite these measures, no online service is 100% secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@zanjaconnect.com. You can also delete your account from the app profile screen.

ZanjaConnect is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
