Terms of Use

By creating an account or using ZanjaConnect, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

ZanjaConnect is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local service providers in Zambia. We facilitate bookings, payments, and tracking but are not the employer of any provider. Providers are independent contractors.

You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use the app only for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the platform, harass providers or customers, or attempt to bypass payment or safety features.

When you book a service, you enter an agreement with the provider, not ZanjaConnect. Providers are responsible for the quality of their work. ZanjaConnect is not liable for the outcome of any service performed.

Customers pay the agreed price plus any applicable fees through the app. ZanjaConnect charges providers a commission on completed jobs. Promotions and bundle discounts may apply as shown at booking. All amounts are in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW).

You may cancel a booking before a provider accepts. Once accepted, cancellations may be subject to a fee at ZanjaConnect's discretion. Providers may decline bookings at any time before acceptance.

Providers must be qualified for the services they offer, carry out work to a professional standard, and comply with all Zambian laws. ZanjaConnect may suspend providers who breach these terms or receive repeated poor ratings.

The app includes a safety check-in and alert feature. Triggering a false safety alert is prohibited. In a genuine emergency, use the in-app alert and contact local emergency services on 999.

Both customers and providers can rate each other. Ratings must be honest and based on genuine experiences. ZanjaConnect may remove abusive or fraudulent reviews.

ZanjaConnect is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Zambian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or the services booked through it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.
